The perfect body shop, 2000, 2001, 2014

‘The perfect body shop‘ is a joint project of Corinna David and Christiane Haag.

For this installation a fictional supermarket was created with an assortment of spare parts for the human body and cosmetics with genetically engineered ingredients. Although fictional the interior of the shop was supposed to be based as close as possible on reality or what we are expecting as possible future reality.

This project was realized in 2001. It is astonishing how close the fiction of the past got the reality of the present today.
